This is a very simple quick snack; and you are likely to have all the ingredients in your pantry. All you need is some tuna, pickles, mayo, tabasco, pepper, sliced bread, and basil or other herbs if you like. Chop pickles and herbs small, place together with the flaked tuna and the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and mix. Spread on a slice and cover with another.
Place the sandwiches in the heated oiled sandwich press and cook until ready, about 4 minutes. If you don't have a sandwich press, place the sandwiches on an oiled frying pan and press it down with a plate with some weights. Serve hot with a salad.
