Potato wedges на русском
This is a very tasty healthy alternative to potato chips or fried potatoes, equally pleasing for children and adults.
All you need is potatoes, rosemary, salt, pepper and olive oil. Cut the potatoes into wedges and put into a bowl with cold water. Let the wedges sit in the water for 30-40 minutes to get rid of the extra starch. Chop the rosemary small.
Heat the oven to 220C. Dry the wedges on the kitchen towel, put in a pan, sprinkle with the chopped rosemary, season with salt and pepper, and pour over some olive oil. Shake the pan to mix everything. Place the wedges on a baking tray and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden and crisp. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (optional).
You can serve the wedges with various dips, for instance with the yoghurt and dill one, like on the photo. It can be a part of your picnic, along with a salad, some spicy chicken wings and lemonade.
